The Plano Repertory Theatre’s 2004 Summer Children’s Series concludes with the story of Beauty and the Beast. When the handsome prince is turned into savage beast and imprisoned, he is faced with either marrying the evil witch who captured him, or finding a beautiful maiden to fall in love with him. With the help of fate and the magical rose, the Beast meets his Beauty. Beauty is torn between her family and her new found friend, the Beast. Will love conquer all and allow Beauty to look past the Beast’s savage look and fall in love with his inner person? A Classic tale of love and acceptance.
