About the Show
Barbette is the story of Vander Clyde, a country boy from Round Rock, Texas who moved to Paris in the 1920’s to become a world famous transvestite trapeze artist. A legendary movement coach, choreographer and performer, Barbette was truly a one-of-a-kind artist.
