A New Brain is the musical response of composer William Finn to being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. The show is about the joy of living, not the threat of death. Through a series of affectionately satiric jabs at hospital politics, lovers, mothers, and medical procedures, this production presents a witty and delightfully tuneful look at the “life” of an artist.
