About the Show
Tapestry Dance Company presents the 25th Annual Soul 2 Sole Tap Festival, a beloved Austin tradition celebrating the artistry, history, and joy of tap dance. Returning after last year's cancellation, the festival brings together world-renowned tap artists including Dianne Walker, Acia Gray, Brinae Ali, Margaret Morrison, Jeremy Arnold, Luke Hickey, Elizabeth Burke, Nicholas Van Young, and Siobhan Alexis for a soulful reunion of performance, education, and community. Highlights include faculty showcases, live music from the Soul 2 Sole Jazz Trio, and poetry by Austin Poet Laureate Zell Miller III. Originally founded as The Austin Tap Jam, this unique festival has connected dancers and audiences through rhythm and creativity for more than 35 years.
