tick, tick…BOOM!

The Seattle premiere of tick, tick…BOOM!, by Jonathan Larson, creator of the Broadway smash hit Rent, kicks off ArtsWest’s 2006-07 season. Meet Jon, a young composer who is determined to write the Great American Musical. But the main music Jon hears is the ticking of his biological clock as he edges closer and closer to the impending BOOM! of his 30th birthday — his self-imposed deadline for success. With an original rock/pop score and plenty of passion and heart, tick, tick…BOOM! brings actors Nick DeSantis and John Bartley back to the ArtsWest stage and welcomes Jessica Skerritt to her first ArtsWest role.
