Burbage Theatre Co presents the Rhode Island premiere of
hang by debbie tucker green, in partnership with WomensWork Theatre Collaborative. A shattering and meticulously crafted drama, hang explores morality, justice, and the weight of impossible decisions. A woman is called to a room to meet two agents of an unknown organization. As the story unfolds, the play reveals the relationship between the three individuals and the unspeakable choice the woman must make. With shades of Harold Pinter,
hang is provocative, visceral, and darkly humorous. The play premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in London in 2015 and has been lauded as a “fine achievement” that poses moral and ethical questions about society and the legal process.
