Burbage Theatre Co begins its 15th Season with William Shakespeare’s "Much Ado About Nothing," directed by Trinity Repertory Company member Stephen Thorne.
Shakespeare’s sparkling comedy of love, wit, and second chances follows the sharp-tongued Beatrice and Benedick as they spar in a battle of wits, while the young lovers Hero and Claudio find their relationship threatened by deception, jealousy, and reputation. Brimming with sharp intelligence, preposterous silliness, romance, and unexpected turns, "Much Ado About Nothing" explores the risks of vulnerability and the consequences of believing—or refusing to believe—the people we love.
Featuring Burbage Theatre Co artist Alison Russo as Beatrice and founding Artistic Director Jeff Church as Benedick.
