About This Show

Long live the crotchety divas! Mezzo-soprano/performance artist Martha McDonald uses her own wicked sense of humor to explore the cult of the Opera diva–weaving stories and songs of Baroque Opera heroines, tales from the volatile life of Maria Callas, and personal drama from her own life as a singer. Diva Trouble: The Death of Dido and Other Diversions is part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
