Nduduzo Makhathini is a South African jazz pianist and composer who derives his inspiration from John Coltrane’s groundbreaking suite, A Love Supreme. Coltrane’s pianist McCoy Tyner’s influence is evident throughout Nduduzo’s work. He performed at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Essence Festivals in New Orleans and South Africa, Blue Note Jazz Club and Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. Nduduzo will perform with his quartet at his Kente debut.
