Ragtime and Again

The Prince Music Theatre presents Ragtime and Again in which Max Morath carries his audience to another time and place in America’s musical past, calling upon ragtime icons Irving Berlin, Scott Joplin, Bert Williams and James P. Johnson as well as some of the ‘kids’ of ragtime including Hoagy Carmichael and the Gershwin brothers. Max Morath takes audiences on a casual musical excursion connecting the past to the present with hilarious sidebars about our American manners and morals, our fashions and our follies.
