About This Show

“Christmas was better when it was creepy” – Gin Hobbs

Theater Catalyst presents the world premiere of a new Gin Hobbs sure-fire musical comedy classic, Amerrycan X-mas, directed by John Stanton. In this hilariously blasphemous Christmas musical comedy, Edith (Mom) desperately attempts to paint a happy holiday portrait for Steve, the African exchange student. Along with Arlin (Dad) and his tree-hugging and "minimalist" all-Jesus decorations, A.J (the Son) and his shopping and re-gifting economic policy, and Grandma’s public underwear-donning antics, go on the hunt for the perfect Christian-Amerrycan experience. Directed by Madhouse’s John Stanton and featuring local favorite actors: Jessica Conda, Jennifer Kulick, Robert Neddoff, and Gregg Pica.
