About This Show

NY’s PM Theater presents its Off-Broadway production A Star Without A Name in Philadelphia. The troupe that brought The Singing Windmills last summer, will present this melodramatic tragicomedy, adapted and translated into English by Ilya Eckstein, at KleinLife JCC on April 3. “The show adds another world, with all its strangeness and love, [which] can profoundly change you. Although you are bound to return to your own world, your life and fate in it will never be the same” (Vassili Schedrin, “The Theatre Times”). Directed by incomparable Gera Sandler, the production features Anya Zicer, leading the cast as mysterious Mona. A company member of NY’s Krymov Lab, Zicer recently delighted audiences in Onegin as Inna Natanovna. Stephen Ochsner, an international award-winning sensation, stars opposite Zicer as Mr. Teacher, an enigmatic male lead of the piece. Ochsner is joining the tour immediately following his riveting performance in critically acclaimed Our Class at BAM.
