George F. Tyler: A Synergy of Being and Doing; Including an Architectural History and Behind the Scenes Tour of the Tyler Mansion

The keynote lecture will be presented by Daniel Tyler grandson of George and Stella Tyler, retired professor of history at Colorado State University and author of “Bucks County’s Benevolent Squire: In Search of George Frederick Tyler.” Mr. Tyler will show how his grandfather and grandmother, Stella Elkins, managed to represent the class of "Perennial Philadelphians" into which they were born, while at the same time using their talents and inherited wealth to benefit society.
