Abduction from the Seraglio

Belmonte sails from Spain to Turkey to rescue his beloved Konstanze from a harem. Her ship was beset by pirates who sold her to Pasha Selim, the Ottoman ruler. A fun story and a timeless perspective on love and human nature, set at the cultural crossroads of East and West.  Presented in a period setting, with orchestra and chorus. Sung in German with projected English titles.
