About the Show
Laura Hall, Music Director of “Whose Line is it Anyway?” and Nick Condon, of The Nancy Boys, and Solitaire the Musical!, have collaborated to create a two-day musical improv intensive to give students the skills, scene, and song structure to perform a fully improvised musical.
This two-day intensive will introduce students to the fundamentals of improvised musical comedy and help take your scenes to the next level. Learn to improvise songs that sound like they’ve already been written as we explore rhythm and rhyme, common song structures with memorable hooks, and how they fit into a greater musical narrative.
Pre-registration is required to attend this two-day workshop and participants should plan to attend both days of the workshop. Admission to the Improv! The Musical workshop is priced on a sliding scale ($95 – $115). Reserve your spot to this workshop in advance, then come on down to CoHo for an afternoon of community and musical improvisation!
