About This Show

Cleveland Public Theatre and Y-Haven produce an original collaborative piece performed by the Y-Haven Players, a company of formerly homeless men. Reconstruction of a Man tells the story of a wanderer accused of a crime he may or may not have committed. Taken into custody, he slips out of reality and into a quest for the truth where he is confronted by his own personal demons. Co-directed by national award winning artist Raymond Bobgan and international scholar and musician Khalel Hakim, the play utilizes the life experiences of the rehabilitated homeless to create an original collaborative theater piece.

Admission is FREE, with a benefit on Thursday, September 28 featuring a gourmet buffet supper, a silent auction, and a special preview performance of the play. Tickets for this event are $50.
