About This Show

Winner of the Olivier Award in London and the Tony Award in New York, Copenhagen is about the relationship between Danish Atomic Physicist Niels Bohr and his protégé, German Scientist Werner Heisenberg, and a famous, but mysterious meeting between the two in 1941. Formerly close friends, the two men are now on opposite sides in a world war and the race to develop an atomic bomb. Why did Heisenberg travel to Copenhagen? Or do we ever know why we do what we do?

Presented by the Red Herring Theatre in collaboration with CATCO.
