Harry the Dirty Dog

Harry the Dirty Dog is based on the book by Gene Zion and adapted by Karen Abbott. Harry is a very dirty dog. He simply hates to bathe. So, when he hears the water running in the bathtub he knows what he has to do. He promptly buries the scrub-brush and runs away from home. Freedom from bathing is intoxicating…at first; but Harry soon misses his beloved family. Will Harry find his way home? Will his family recognize him? Will he ever bathe again? Audiences help the actors bring the story to life in this raucous version of the classic children’s book.
