Doing More Than Time

The North Carolina Women’s Prison Writing and Performance Project presents Doing More Than Time. Through workshops in writing and performance led by volunteers and professionals in the arts, incarcerated women move from rage and victimization into reflection and self-empowerment.

Former State Senator Howard Lee, chair of the NC State Board of Education, and his wife Lillian Lee, a member of the Board of the Jordan Institute for Families, will host a Meet the Performers gathering at the Arts Center following the performance. Presented in conjunction with the Jordan Institute for Families in the UNC School of Social Work. West End Theater.
