Children’s Theatre of Charlotte presents the Grey Seal Puppets’ Bathtub Pirates. Captain Blackbeard is without his ship, so he decides to commandeer a child’s bathtub and set to sea! His motley crew outfits the bathtub with rudder, sail and a jolly roger. The child is delighted to be part of the gang, until the pirates decide to put the kid to work. Between fishing for octopus and swabbing the decks with Q-tips, the child decides the life of a pirate is not for him! He enlists a friendly pirate, “Tweezers,” as well as a plumber who happens to be working on the tub to stage a mutiny. Can they escape Blackbeard’s iron grip on the bathtub, or will their plans for escape go down the drain? The award-winning Grey Seal Puppets present this delightful show for little ones. For ages 3 and up.
