2022 – SANKOFA

Sankofa will explore the history and current state of race relations in the United States through music, dance, spoken word, and dramatic skits. The show will involve bringing community members together from various backgrounds in a workshop format to explore how racial bias affected our near history and continues to affect our present. The performances will be the result of the cast's explorations of what being a person of color means in modern times within their own ethnic group and within society as a whole.
