Westchester Jazz Orchestra: Maiden Voyage

Herbie Hancock’s classic Maiden Voyage album achieved a wondrous balance between the simple lyrical and the complex driving natures of jazz. In newly-commissioned arrangements, Westchester Jazz Orchestra performs this entire CD. Rounding out the concert are classic arrangements of favorite standards by Thad Jones and Bill Holman.
