Tyler Bullock Trio // Live Stream, 1st Set

Pianist and composer Tyler Bullock II brings his Trio to The Jazz Gallery, Jul 17th. Since graduating from Julliard in 2025, Tyler has already established himself in the NYC jazz scene. Bullock is the regular pianist for The Roy Hargrove Big Band and has worked with artists such as Samara Joy, Joel Ross, and Kenny Garrett, among others. Bullock’s 2023 recording with Ulysses Owens Jr.’s Gen Y Band spent 8 weeks at #1 on the Jazz Radio Charts.

Bullock was one of the first two recipients of The Gilmore’s 2026 Bell Young Artist Award. In 2024, he was selected to participate in the acclaimed Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program at The Kennedy Center. He was also chosen for Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra Jazz in 2021 and for the NYO Jazz All-Stars in 2023. In 2022, Tyler was honored as the National Young Arts top winner in jazz piano.
