About This Show

Arthur Kopit and Maury Yeston’s Phantom is a tuneful tale about the power of love and obsession. Wealthy opera patron Count Chandon discovers Christine Daee, a lowly street singer, and her dream of being a famous opera singer seems to come true. Erik, also known as the Phantom who haunts the Opera House, falls in love with her voice and with her. His love becomes obsessive and dangerous, yet Christine sees a beauty in him that no one else can.
