NY International Dance Festival was founded in 2023 by Artistic Director Brigid Le Minez to bring a diversity of dance styles to wide audiences and to offer freelance artists a platform for presenting new choreography as well as old classics. The festival highlights character, folk, social and national dances that celebrate and showcase cultures from around the world. NY International Dance Festival is a member of le Conseil International de la Danse-UNESCO.
Our program will include Armenian, Ukrainian, Italian, Polish & Spanish character, Dabke, Irish Dance, Belly Dance, Flamenco, Kazakh, Mazurka, Georgian, Kalmyk, Buryat, Sakha, Japanese-inspired, Kathak, Odissi, Bharatanatyam, special performances of La Gaîté Parisienne by American Liberty Ballet, the pas de deux from Satanella & more!
