About This Show

Headlining the Hamptons Shakespeare Festival is Much Ado About Nothing. The nihilistic Benedick is more than matched by the enigmatic Beatrice, both in varying states of denial of their passion for one another. Trusting their tongues but not each others’ souls, Bea and Ben are contrasted by the dear love between Hero and Claudio, until foul play enters the game…along with the security-challenged constable Dogberry and his not-so-vigilant volunteer police squad.
The performance schedule is:
August 5 – August 20
Wednesday – Sunday
Theodore Roosevelt County Park
August 25 – September 3
Tuesday, Thursday – Sunday
Agawam Park
All performances begin at 7:30pm and are free, with a $10 suggested donation.
