Company presents a return engagement of Jane Taylor Starwood’s Love & War: A Trilogy to the Vail-Leavitt Music Hall.
Set in 1968, “Frog Baby” finds 19-year-old Army bride Karen with a new friend Susan, also an Army wife. The idle chatter of a budding friendship takes a sudden, shattering turn.
“Afternoon Tea” is set one year later, in the ladies’ room at an officers’ wives tea. After the comic havoc that ensues when Alex spikes the fruit punch, Karen gains insight to her self and her marriage.
In “White Room,” a dramatic confrontation with Mark forces Karen to face her life with new clarity.
