Debby Boone: Swing This

Many know the remarkable Debby Boone from her song "You Light Up My Life," an overnight hit that brought her instant fame and the Grammy award for Best New Artist of the Year. Her latest CD, Swing This, covers hits that conjure up Vegas in the ’60s, when her father, Pat Boone, headlined shows and took his daughter along. The selections for the evening, with "Sing, Sing, Sing" among them, are "the joyful, exhilarating songs that inspired me to become a singer," notes Ms. Boone. Classic swing tunes with a "killer band" behind her will put everyone in a party mood. As the daughter-in-law of jazz vocalist Rosemary Clooney, Boone is also bound to pay tribute to her in the evening’s program.
