At a local fair, young Charles has a romantic encounter with a young servant. When he returns to the city he writes to her, but Anna, who can neither read nor write, can only answer him if Edith, her employer, writes the letters for her. Charles falls more deeply in love ? with the person who authored those beautiful letters. Will the romance resolve? BroadHollow Theatre Company presents After the Fair, a musical with book and lyrics by Stephen Cole and music by Matthew Ward. Songs include “The World at My Window,” “This Is Not the End,” and “Your Words Were Music.” The production is directed by Richard T. Dolce, BroadHollow?s Artistic Director.
There will be two Sunday evening performances at 7:00 pm on January 13 and January 27. Thursdays, January 17 and January 24 will offer 8:00 pm performances. There will be one Wednesday matinee January 23 at 2:00 pm.
