About This Show

The Opera Company of Brooklyn is poised for another musical conquest, tackling George Frederick Handel’s challenging opera Giulio Cesare. Continuing its mission of “Building new bridges to opera,” Maestro Jay Meetze conducts two performances, one in the increasingly popular B.Y.O.B. (Bring your own Beverage) format, and the other as part of the new Sunday Staged series of operas. The B.Y.O.B. series brings concert versions of opera to new and varied audiences in the comfort of private residences throughout the New York area. The recently inaugurated Sunday Staged series allows young singers to develop their roles with greater depth through the liberation of movement and imaginative staging.
