About the Show
Two hauntingly beautiful one-acts perform at The NuBox June 6-June 28, produced by Nuance Theatre Co., under the direction of Artistic Director, John DeSotelle.
With his inimitable touch for magic DeSotelle has worked closely with designers to create inventive staging and atmospheric lighting embracing elements of both fire and rain.
“Staging the essence of these stories within an intimate black box setting is an intriguing challenge and one that I’m especially drawn to”, says DeSotelle. “I enjoy creating unexpected elements that will surprise and enrich the audience experience. I also relish the opportunity to inform theatre-goers of the ability of small theatres to do big things!”
A strong ensemble cast merges dysfunction and isolation into these compelling stories. “We take our time casting so we can develop dynamic character relationships, pivotal to illuminating the vulnerability of the human condition, so vital to John’s vision for this production”, states A.D.,Judith Feingold.
