Following a successful workshop presentation at Pregones/PRTT earlier this year, Broadway Sin Vergüenza brings its bilingual cabaret experience Telenovela Nights to The Green Room 42 on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 9:30 PM. Presented by Broadway Sin Barreras, Telenovela Nights is a fast-paced double feature inspired by gathering with family to watch nightly telenovelas — now reimagined live on stage through musical theater, comedy, melodrama, and cabaret storytelling. The evening features two original musical telenovelas performed back-to-back: Champagne Tears: The Rich Also Cry, a glamorous saga of secrets, betrayals, and shifting loyalties, and Querida: Amor Sin Final, a heartfelt story of love and heartbreak inspired by the music of Juan Gabriel. Performed by a bilingual ensemble and accompanied by live piano, the show blends comedy, emotional twists, and audience interaction into one immersive cabaret experience.
