About This Show

Inspired by the deaths of Trayvon Martin and other nameless black men, Strings follows a man set to be executed, a lawyer with an ulterior motive, and the strings that bind them both. While Derek prepares to defend the man he just met, they each find that no one is truly innocent. This show speaks of friendship, race, a corrupt system, and the fact that, no matter how fast we run, our past catches up with us eventually.
