About This Show

The original cast of the Broadway musical Bright Star, the 2016 Drama Desk Award winner for Outstanding Music and five-time Tony Award nominee, will reunite for a one-night-only concert to celebrate the show’s smash-hit original cast recording. Co-creators Steve Martin and Edie Brickell will join as both hosts and guest-performers for the evening. Immediately following the concert, the legendary Peter Asher will moderate a Q&A with Martin, Brickell, and other members of the creative team. The concert will take place at Town Hall on Monday, December 12, at 7:30pm.

Since its release this past spring, the original cast recording of Bright Star has enjoyed the distinction of having charted on five different Billboard lists. It is one of the top-selling cast recordings of the year.

Bright Star, with direction by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie and choreography by Josh Rhodes, began performances on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at the Cort Theatre and opened officially on Thursday, March 24.
