Pookie Hudson and the Spaniels: Goodnight Sweetheart, Goodnight

Pookie Hudson and the Spaniels perform Goodnight Sweetheart, Goodnight as part of Lorenzo’s Saturday Night Cabaret Series. Pookie Hudson is considered by group harmony historians to be the first true leader of a vocal group–as Pookie would sing solo at his own microphone while the Spaniels were grouped around a second microphone. The Spaniels played regularly at the Apollo, and shared the tour with Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper.
