Opening Gala Concert with Lang Lang

Music Director Alan Gilbert, the New York Philharmonic and piano virtuoso Lang Lang — kicks off the classical music season with two beloved works from the symphonic repertoire. Lang Lang joins the Orchestra to perform Grieg’s popular Piano Concerto, followed by the Philharmonic’s performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, which pulses with life and joy.
