Angela Pneuman is a recent Stegner Fellow and lecturer in fiction at Stanford. Her work has appeared in Best American Short Stories and Ploughshares; in addition, she has a novel forthcoming from Harcourt. April Krassner received her MFA from Sarah Lawrence College, teaches writing in the McGhee Division at NYU, and has been published in Zing, Iconoclast, and is working on a new book, The Third Element. Jorge Ignacio Cortinas has received awards from the NEA and the NYFA. His play, Blind Mouth Singing recently completed a run at Chicago’s Teatro Vista.

Akilah Oliver has been honored by the PEN American Centers “Open Book” program, and is a member of the adjunct faculty at Naropa University. Her newest chapbook is called My Other Legend. Erica Hunt has written three books of poetry, and her works can be found in Moving Borders, Iowa Poetry Review and the Virago Anthology of Women’s Love Poetry.

Edward Carey is a playwright, novelist and visual artist. He is also the author of the novels Observatory Mansions and Alva and Irva: The Twins Who Saved a City. Elizabeth McCracken is the author of the short story collection Here’s Your Hat What’s Your Hurry, and the novels The Giant’s House and Niagra Falls All Over Again.
