As opportunities for jobs dwindle, the “unpaid internship” reigns supreme for the recent college graduate – often tied to the mirage of an eventual holy grail more commonly known as the “paid position”. A fusion of dissatisfied yet impassioned recent college graduates and current college students join forces to crack this cultural phenomenon open, sparing nothing – especially not humor.

The result is Workplace Professional, a new office comedy death match centered around two driven interns, Jess and Nick, and their battle to defeat their intern cohorts to win a coveted staff position at a prestigious news website. It’s “Office Space,” mixed with “The Hunger Games,” spiced with some “Glengarry Glen Ross” for flavor.
