Harry Prichett, author and star of this one-man satire about the American work ethic, plays a self-help guru and host of an informational seminar called Work=Pain=Success. His motto: “Without pain, there can be no success, no happiness, no things.” Prichett also plays 10 other characters, from a one-fingered piano player to an agent who exploits the salability of the homeless. Each explores the guru’s equation and how it manifests itself in their lives, relationships, and careers.
