Women for Women

Women for Women features 15 original monologues written and performed by women on the theme: “Obstacles a woman faces today–and what inspires her to move through it all.” The monologues range from the comedic to the intensely dramatic.

All proceeds from this show will be donated to “The New York Women’s Foundation,” a powerful alliance of women helping women. The organization was founded out of a conviction that all women can be philanthropists and a commitment to build a solid bridge between New York City’s vast resources and its equally vast needs. Through grant-making, advocacy and education, the Foundation encourages self-reliance and economic autonomy for New York City’s low-income women.
