Two Serious Ladies

Columbia University’s Oscar Hammerstein II Center for Theatre Studies will present a world premiere adaptation of Jane Bowles’ classic novel TWO SERIOUS LADIES . This production tells the parallel story of two women whose lives intersect in the 1930’s. Through their journeys and as a mysterious tapestry of strangers and exotic locales unfurls, the women are forced to grapple with their own notions of destiny and salvation, as well as the pleasure and price of danger.-dlm
