True West

Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Sam Shepard, True West is the story of estranged brothers Austin and Lee as they struggle to define themselves, their relationship with each other, and with the outside world. The third of Shepard’s “family” plays, True West is intense,
engaging, and fiercely funny. Shepard shows us both the light and dark side of sibling rivalry, the struggle for creative thought, and the existence of truth in the “wild” west. The Charlie Pineapple Theatre Company’s production is directed by Sarah VanDerBeets.
