Tiempo de Tango

Teatro Círculo’s Tiempo de Tango (Tango Time) explores the history and power of tango from the early 1900 to the present through its melodies and lyrics. The tango was born in houses of ill repute and cheap dance halls, grew up in cafés and zarzuela theatres, and reached international fame through the records, movies and sold-out concerts of such stars as the great singer-composer-actor Carlos Gardel.
