Written by Johannes Galli, based on a story in World War II, inspired by Mark Strunin

How can one reconcile the actions of those in the past? Thou Shalt Not Kill follows a Jewish couple and a young women as they cope with living in Nazi Germany. The play was developed with international Jewish guests of the Galli Theatre after the group had visited the concentration camp ‘Buchenwald.’ The piece is an expression of the longing to reconcile Jews and Germans and stands for communication and friendship between all people.

Performed by the Galli Company with New York actors Anette Dorfman, Alona Traniak, Christoph Friedrich, Verena Gemsa, and Erin Urkes.
