About This Show

Thistle Blossoms examines the relationship of Lisa, a troubled student, and Jo, her uptight professor. Lisa feels as though life is not worth living and describes her plans to commit suicide in a personal essay. Jo is able to intervene with unconventional methods that eventually show Lisa the worth of her life. This dramatic play sheds light on the current issues surrounding student depression and violence.
