The Water Children

In this dark comedy, Megan is a pro-choice actress walking the line between ingenue and mom. When she loses a big role to the next hot young thing, her agent convinces her to take a well-paid commercial- for a pro-life organization. In spite of her beliefs, she can’t afford to say no. To her surprise, she finds herself falling for Randall, the pro-life organization’s charismatic leader. Along the way she gets conflicting advice from her quirky gay roommate, her Catholic mom, her flamboyant hairdresser, her unborn son, and her cat. Things turn upside down when Randall’s militant group takes a crazy turn and Megan’s pregnancy test turns up positive. What will Megan do? The choice is her’s…for the time being.
