The Vital Funny

The Vital Theatre Company presents The Vital Funny, a
six-weekend long sketch comedy exhibition and competition between numerous groups currently performing in the New York area. Each evening features performances by four established sketch comedy teams who are then judged by a well-respected team of pretend comic experts – and the audience. At the end of four weeks, the sketch teams that have accumulated the most points are invited to the semi-finals on August 14. The two top ranking groups participate in the finals on August 21, with the winning team to be presented by Vital Theatre for a full weekend of solo performance in September.
