New York City
Puppetworks celebrates summer with this presentation of three of the most beloved of Aesop’s fables. Puppetworks Artistic Director Nicolas Coppola adapted these masterpieces by the 6th-century Greek storyteller. Androcles and the Lion, The Milkmaid and Her Pail, and of course, The Tortoise and the Hare will be presented using hand and rod puppets, as well as marionettes. The action is set at a modern county fair. It’s fun for the whole family!
There will be additional performances on Sunday, June 25, and Sunday, July 2, at 12:30 and 2pm.
