The Taming of the Shrew

A vaudeville-influenced affair, complete with actor-created music and artistic backdrops, The Taming of the Shrew focuses on drunkard Christopher Sly as he believes he’s a wealthy man with a band of actors at his service. When he dozes off, the story of Petruchio and Kate comes to the forefront. The production is a meditation on love, the theatrics it demands from us and creates in us, and the nature of what it means to be truly rich.
