About the Show
The Sun and Splendor Theatre Company presents The Ruins, a new musical comedy by Paul Reller. The show is a surrealistic roller coaster about the death of a pope, the origins of a dying civilization and the strip clubs on Tampa?s Dale Mabry Highway. Influenced by the ban on lap dancing in Tampa, Florida, the musical explores politics, religion, pop culture, and sex.
